AN ART-FORWARD BOUTIQUE HOTEL DESIGNED TO INSPIRE

Quirk is a boutique art hotel brand whose flagship location is on a prominent corner of Richmond, Virginia’s Historic Arts District. The Quirk concept began as small local art gallery and has grown to have a second hotel located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Both hotel locations provide guests with a novel space to embrace and engage with local art, culture, and community.

Quirk brought us on to establish brand standards, re-design collateral, and create entirely new visual identities for the food & beverage spaces. Throughout the project we stayed loyal to (but expanded upon) the fresh, playful color palette, the boutique experience, and the focus on local art. In spring 2020 we completed the full scope of photography for the second hotel (pictured here) in Charlottesville designed by our Richmond studio neighbors, ARCHITECTUREFIRM.
