Anna’s earliest memories involve the arts. After earning a BFA in graphic design, she took residence at Women's Studio Workshop in the Hudson Valley where she immersed herself in the world of letterpress, etching, silkscreen and papermaking. She later moved her belongings from a cabin in the woods to Brooklyn, accepting a position as a book designer at Penguin Random House. Anna's work is enhanced by a dual understanding of print design as well as handmade craft. An air of simplicity and playful nostalgia hovers over each project that crosses her path. Any given day you can find Anna painting, hand lettering, or exploring her new city of Richmond.
Kate wandered a circuitous path to photography. After a childhood tinkering with film and dabbling in photography courses, she pursued a 5-year career in bilingual speech pathology before returning to her love of visual arts. Since founding Betty Clicker Photography in 2013, Kate has traveled worldwide to photograph weddings, food stories, interiors, and portraits. Her endeavor is to create soulful images with attention to atmosphere, composition and design and believes the best work derives from the practice of listening. At any given moment you can find Kate experimenting in the kitchen, practicing yoga, designing her home, or editing photographs.
interior design + styling
Isabel is a Magpie by nature, drawn to shiny objects and continuously rearranging her nest. Constantly distracted by colors, design and architectural drawings, she naturally studied Interior Design at Marymount University. After working solely in residential interiors, recent years have let her bring her vision to both commercial spaces and industrial design. With attention to detail and an ability to harmoniously create, Isabel designs with visual, textural and aesthetic continuity in mind. If you drop by her home, you could find Isabel planning her next overseas escape, or trying to convince her husband to throw an unnecessarily elaborate dinner party.
